IN HONOR OF STEVE’S PASSION FOR HOCKEY AND HIS #21 LEGACY, WE ESTABLISHED 21HOCKEY — THE STEVEN DRONSFIELD FOUNDATION

Steve was a man whose life was defined by passion, dedication, and a deep commitment to serving others. As a devoted husband, father, friend, and coach, his legacy continues to inspire all who knew him. His story is one of selflessness, where his focus was always on others — his beloved family, his community, and being a mentor to young athletes.

Hockey was Steve’s true passion, and his love for the game ran deep. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and his commitment to the game was matched only by his desire to help others.

As a coach, he worked tirelessly to instill respect, teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship in his players while building lasting relationships with them. He believed in the potential of every athlete and made it his mission to help them grow.

In honor of Steve’s legacy, 21Hockey was established by his family to empower youth to build skills that last a lifetime - on and off the ice.

The Steven Dronsfield Foundation is dedicated to honoring Steve’s legacy by providing every child, regardless of financial barriers, the opportunity to experience the game he loved. Inspired by Steve’s passion for hockey and his iconic #21, we strive to "Play Hard, Dream Big" by fostering opportunities and equipping young athletes with the resources they need to play and grow.

Through our programs, we provide access to equipment, training, and travel for youth hockey players, ensuring that no child is left off the ice. More than just teaching the game, we instill the values Steve lived by—Respect, Teamwork, Discipline, Perseverance, and Sportsmanship. Steve’s incredible ability to build trust, inspire dedication, and foster a sense of belonging in his players is the cornerstone of our mission.
